THE STORY OF ‘OMJA’

‘Omja’ in simple words means born of cosmic unity.

“Cosmic chemistry says that the entire cosmos is a body. Nothing in it stands apart, all things are joined together,” states Osho. From ‘Hidden Mysteries’, Ch 5, Part 2 of 6. 

Here at Omja, we believe that just like the cosmos is a single unit, so is our body and whatever we consume. Every particle that goes inside us affects not just our bodies but our entire lives. Which is how we came up with the idea of making our food what's best for us. By offering purity and transparency as well as our ancestor's great practices in the modern world, our products guarantee a healthy body, brain, and lifestyle. That is why we wow to make sure that our food is healthy and at the same time wholesome, rich in all the natural nutrients, aromas, and taste. 

WHAT DOES OMJA HAVE TO OFFER?

Omja strives to provide all our customers with food products that are chemical-free and preservative-free and we ensure that through in house production. While most of our products are homemade, those which aren't are also 100% pure with the highest level of nutrients and taste. Our aim is to keep our food tasty while also making it healthy enough so we can eat all we can without any fears or regrets! 

THE BIRTH OF OMJA

Omja is founded by Mrs. Deepika Nishant Monga, who is many things but above all she is a mother. What started with an attempt to making sure her family always eats what is best for them, has today turned into an attempt to completely changing people's perspective about whatever touches our soul, hence giving birth to what we today know as Omja. Mrs. Deepika is a woman of the belief that if we stay connected to our mother earth, nothing can put us in harm's way. And what could be better than adapting the techniques and habits of our ancestors and fore-fathers. She decided to change the lives of her loved ones by bettering the one thing that is used the most, which is oil, and eventually moved on to adding various other healthier alternatives to the picture. She grows everyday with these newer, better life choices and now looking forward to spreading the same love to everybody else. 

OUR INSPIRATION AND SUPPORT

Getting inspiration from our elders is the best kind of inspiration. The foundations of Omja were laid out based on the things taught to us by Deepika's  mother-in-law, (Late) Mrs. Sumidha Monga and mother, (Late) Mrs. Jagdish Kaur. 

Starting Omja has been a way to keep our elders close to our minds, hearts and souls. Their teachings and blessings rouse us everyday to grow and expand, not just as a business but also as a family.  We humbly thank them for supporting us on this endeavor even from far away!
